Chiaroscuro of the Soul – The Embrace of Asterione reinterprets the myth of Theseus and the Minotaur beyond combat. The sculpture captures an unexpected moment: the hero does not slay the monster — he embraces him. Asterione embodies the shadow, while Theseus represents heroic consciousness. The embrace becomes an act of transformation: the integration of opposites.
Suspended between human and animal, the figure is cast in bronze with intense modeling. Its vibrant surface enhances the dialogue between light and shadow, transforming the labyrinth into a psychological space of profound revelation.
