The two most important days in life are the day you are born and the day you find out why.

SEEKING THE SECOND DAY ∞ + 1
Life is a buffet, made up of the image we’ve chosen, the discovery of the Golden Bough, Jean Val ean’s candlesticks, and the aroma of coffee in the morning as soon as we wake. It is said that Mark Twain once remarked: “The older I get, the more vividly I remember things that never happened.” Perhaps there exists within us a memory that transcends the history of events. Henry Corbin calls it the imaginal world, a world that requires a specific perceptual faculty, where images preexist and are ordered before being perceived sensorially. A poetic interstice from which emerges the image of the destiny we choose to live and that shapes our biography. My name is Vincenzo Esposito. Vincent Montecristo is my Second Personality, my Socratic daimon—the inner voice that guides me to the discovery of the “second day,” reminding me of the contents of my chosen image. If, as Alfred Whitehead claims, the Universe tends towards the creation of beauty, aligning with this movement means understanding one’s purpose. The ∞ + 1. I explore the world through art and philosophy, meet people, listen to stories, and sell objects that encapsulate entire lives. Every object is a story, every encounter a step towards the second day.+49 174 322 97 99
